Here at ThinkGeek were just wishing for a fully playable guitar built into a t-shirt when along came the Pixie of ROCK... she wailed with face melting guitar solo and *POOF* there it was in our hands... The Electronic Rock Guitar Shirt. We turned on the mini amp, cranked the volume to 11 and started to rock. As the Pixie explained, the Electronic Guitar Shirt is incredibly easy to play because each button on the neck is a major chord. She went on to mention how you can play dozens of classic rock songs with very little skill. However she warned us never to use the Guitar Shirt for evil lest, we are prepared to summon the Demon of Rock and duel to the death for musical supremacy.

Convertible Carry-On $99.95
Designed for maximum comfort & capacity
Carry it on the plane, or check it
Converts from backpack to suitcase
Tough, lightweight, expandable

Smart Design: Our Convertible Carry-On bag has 2 full length pockets, one of which is conveniently accessed from the side. Larger U-shaped openings for the upper and lower pockets provide easy access; padded grab handles and breathable mesh lumbar panel are comfortable over the long haul. Each rich color features black accent trim.

Convertible and Expandable: Featured in Rick Steves’ TV shows, our Convertible Carry-On is the most versatile carry-on bag you'll find — at an unbeatable price.

Carry-On-Friendly: Measuring 9" x 21" x 14" and weighing just 3 lbs, it fits within most airlines' carry-on guidelines.

Big, Strong, Practical: Constructed of rugged, water-resistant high-density polyester, it features a large 2500 cubic-inch main compartment, three handy outside pockets, a full length/width side access pocket, and a new toggle-tight mesh water bottle pocket.

Extra Capacity: Whenever you need more room, pull open the full-perimeter expando-zipper, and its capacity jumps to 3000 cubic inches.

Handy Extras: It includes a pair of mesh bags for smaller items, and a clip-in security pouch (which you can also clip inside your Appenzell or Civita Day Pack).

Packing Light and Right: This bag is one of the lightest full-size carry on bags available due to the fact that it contains no frame. For best results and extended carrying comfort, we recommend our Packing Cube Set as an essential packing aid. When used with the two internal and four external cinch-tight compression straps, packing cubes will help to maintain the structure of the bag and distribute the load much more evenly across the back.

On Your Back: It easily converts from a smart-looking suitcase to a versatile backpack, with comfortably-curved, air mesh-lined shoulder straps, waistbelt and back panel.

As a Suitcase: When you want to use it as a suitcase (or check it as luggage in "expanded" mode), the straps and waistbelt safely tuck away in the back. Handy D-rings give you the choice of adding our optional Over-the-Shoulder Strap.

Great Colors: Choose from black, slate, blue spruce — plus new copper and sage! Imported.

Your Choice: This bag does NOT have wheels. Our Autobahn Rolling Backpack can be rolled or carried on your back. Our 21" Roll-Aboard rolls exclusively.

Be Aware: New fees for checked luggage (and fears of lost luggage) are causing many travelers to increase what they carry on board, overwhelming the cabin luggage capacity of some flights. As a result, airline personnel are sometimes rejecting carry-on bags that comply with published regulations. Always check with your airline to confirm carry-on restrictions, and prepare to check your bag if asked.

Rave Reviews:
"I've always been a fan of Steves' travel luggage, which is frill-free, built to take abuse, and actually looks like it was designed by a traveler.
John Flinn, Travel Editor, San Francisco Chronicle

I recently bought the re-designed Convertible Carry-On. I am so proud of my accomplishment to carry only a backpack to Italy. I found it to be very comfortable as I trekked and walked and ran from the Isle of Capri up to Lake Como on a 17 day trip. I am a 65 year old traveling woman and other women my age would stop me and say, ‘How long have you been traveling with your backpack?’ I enthusiastically told them how many days and told them to 'try it...you can do it.' I must say I came to regard my backpack as a traveling companion of sorts. I wholeheartedly recommend the Convertible Carry-On for folks who want a less stressful way to travel. Thanks, Rick for re-designing this backpack!!"
